L/QUID DISPATCH

We are an independent magazine created by San Diego's water community for anyone who has ever stood at the ocean and felt like they needed to stay longer. No outside agenda. No editorial brief from someone who has never been in the water. Just photographers documenting what they see every day and putting it on paper. Made by SURFACED COLLECTIVE

No algorithm decided what made it into these pages, no platform decided who gets to see it, you picked it up. That's the whole filter.

This isn't a uniform body of work.

It's a collection of different instincts, different tolerances,

different ways of paying attention to the same ocean. We don't always agree on what's worth getting in for. We agree that getting in is the point.

One issue in

A lot more water to cover.

Next issue is already forming.

Printed on recycled paper.

Print doesn't move. What goes on these pages stays there. You hold it, you read it, you frame a page or pass it on.

Each page fits a standard 8x10 frame. Tear it apart. Get two copies. One to keep, one for your wall.

A percentage of every issue sold goes toward keeping San Diego's coastline clean enough to surf.

This is Vol. 01.

We are just getting started.
